This region is dominated by lake fishing. These are large expanses of water with huge shoals of Bream and Roach. Viborg is a 30 minute drive to the North of Silkeborg.

This is a vast area of Lakeland fishing. There are lots and lots of unexplored areas that will hold some fantastic fish. 

If you require more information on the area once you arrive, there is a very good fishing tackle shop just to the North East of the top lake in Viborg marked on the map 'TS'.
