Reanders is a city to the North East of Silkeborg and Viborg. It is a large city with a population of around 61,000 people.

The river Guden flows through Randers and at this stage it is tidal. There is around 7km of fishing from Randers bridge to Frisenvold.

The fishing is very good for mainly Roach though there are some Bream also.

The river here can be very clear at low tide which makes the fishing difficult. Catch the conditions right and some large bags of Roach can be had here.

The methods here are mainly on the Pole, stick float or Waggler. You do not have to fish too far to find a good depth.

You do not need a local fishing license to fish at Randers though you do still require a National fishing license.
