Sminge Lake fishing area
This is the stretch around 2 miles below Resenbro Bridge. Go over the bridge and turn right onto the road 'Porskaervej'. Continue on and the road changes names to the 'Allinggardsvej'. Continue and turn right at the 'picnic sign'. Park in the picnic area car park and the river is a short walk.

Once on the river, to the right around 200 meters is a lake called Sminge S0. For The Most Part Sminge Lake is no fishing, though after the jetty that is the first point in the lake you can fish to where the lake goes back to the river for around 300 meters.

Walk past Sminge Lake and as the river enters the lake there is a very good peg. Here it is deep and lots of Bream live here.
Below here the river is quite wide. There are Bream in most of the pegs if water levels allow.

To the left of the picnic area car park there are lots of shallow pegs ideal for the pole and waggler, fishing for Roach. There are some far bank slacks that hold Bream and one notable Bream peg a couple of hundred meters before the road bridge.
