The Skanderborg region is all about lake fishing. These are huge lakes which demand a certain style of fishing and equipment.

The main lake is Skanderborg. This huge expanse of water has seen some huge catches of Bream and Roach in the past and has staged some of Europe's most prestigious matches. See the Youtube link below;

Other lakes of note are Stilling lake. This is another huge water which is mostly untapped. The North West shore near the ski ramps is an area of note that holds a large head of Roach and Bream. Beware this area is very deep close in.
